Our Story
During the 2020 pandemic, many things changed in our world. After a successful career as a corporate executive for over 20 years, the founder of Liberty Cart was faced with a decision after parting ways with his former employer. The decision really boiled down to where the best place would be to raise their family. Schools were shut down in their hometown of Memphis, TN. Brian and his wife, Lauren were looking for an opportunity to get to the beach with their two young children, to live alongside of many people with the same conservative Christian values that they held. Shortly after moving into the Sandestin Resort, they saw a need for an additional golf cart company in the area, and decided to jump in and learn a new industry. After a few short months and a little encouragement, Brian talked his retired father and mother into moving to the beach, to come onboard as business partners. The owners are very proud of what they have built, and love being able to tell people that we are a locally family owned Christian business who are here to make friends with all of their customers.
